Managed to get some adjustable spax coilovers from Ebay to replace the soft ones on the rear. Stance and camber is better now. (pics to follow). They're from a Ford Escort but fit a treat.
Also just trying to fit the full new loom which is proving to be a bit of a nightmare.
She's got a wing on :D

Hoping to have her finished for the new year. :?
Will update again when more is done.

Been struggling with work and the weather lately.
Good news is I managed to get my doors and all 4 wings bolted on. I'm amazed that the doors line up after it being my first project. Was a bit worried when I cut out the channels.
Wiring loom is also causing a fair bit of head scratching
Anyhow.......

Started on the budget paint job today. Second coat tomorrow hopefully.
Its a bit tight in the garage for painting and I have had the halogen lights on all day to try and warm the place up.

Well, a bit of an anti-climax this weekend. The plan was to finally start her. New battery, coil, leads and plugs all bought. Tried to get her fired up and nothing.
Fuel and sparks all present and correct but no sign of her firing into life. Messed about with timing and dizzy but still nothing. Managed to get hold of a compression tester and checked 2 of the cylinders.
Only had about 20psi per cylinder..

Engine is now out again and started to strip one side down. So far we've have found 2 stuck valves and a stuck couple of rings. Guess it doesnt help that the engine has been stood for at least a year
GSF bound again for some more bits this week.

On a positive note the paint is coming on a treat, and made a start on a new dash
